Introduction

The CMH Diary Service is the first fully automated online diary service.  Musicians can take full control of their availability for freelance work from any computer online.  Fixers are able to find available musicians faster than ever before.  Using email and SMS technology musicians and fixers can instantly communicate without phone calls and answerphone messages.

How does it work?

Booking musicians

  • Musicians keep a secure diary online
  • Fixers specify event details including dates and fees
  • CMH shows the fixer a list of available musicians
  • Fixer selects the required musicians
  • CMH sends the musicians an email and text message with the details

Text and email responses

Instant response

Musicians can reply instantly by either

  • return text message: 'yes' or 'no'
  • clicking 'yes' or 'no' in the email

Either response notifies the fixer instantly through CMH

Favorite Musicians

Favorites

Once you start using the CMH diary service, you can sort the order in which the musicians are displayed:

  • Select your 'favorite musicians' from the list
  • Click 'Add to favorites'
  • Click 'My Favorite Musicians'
  • Your musicians are displayed in an ordered list.  Click the arrows to sort the names in the order that you would like displayed
