How exactly does a fixer contact me through the CMH Diary Service?
A fixer logs in to CMH, specifies the details of the event (time, place, fee, repertoire etc.) and the diary service automatically displays a list of musicians who are available for those times. The fixer can view your CV, choose the musicians they require and the site will send a text message and an email with details of the event. It is then up to you to reply as instructed to the email or text 'yes', 'no' or 'tbc'. The fixer is notified instantly of all responses.

Is the CMH diary flexible?
Yes, each diary entry can be listed as either 'busy' or 'tentative'. 'Tentative' diary entries will allow you to continue to receive bookings during that period.
What happens if I need to change my mind about a booking?
Each booking email contains the contact details for the fixer. If for whatever reason you are no longer available for a booking, or have any further questions about the event, you can contact the fixer in the usual way.

Will CMH find me work?

Will I have to leave my other diary service?
Not if you don't want to. Many musicians are listed with one or more diary service, none of which are exclusive.
